These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Lernio IQ test and related services (the "Service") provided by Analytics ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the EEA) and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Lernio provides an online cognitive assessment consisting of 30 questions. The Service may include free and paid features, such as detailed result reports or premium content. Features and pricing are disclosed before any purchase.

3. Entertainment & Disclaimer

Results from the Lernio IQ test are provided for personal interest and entertainment purposes only. The test is not a clinically validated or professionally administered IQ assessment. Scores should not be used for educational placement, employment decisions, medical diagnosis, or any official purpose. Analytics makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or validity of any test results.

4. User Accounts

Certain features may require you to create an account or provide an email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

5. Payments & Subscriptions

If you purchase paid features:

  • Prices are displayed before checkout and may change with notice
  • Payments are processed by third-party payment providers
  • Subscriptions, if applicable, renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service
  • Share, resell, or redistribute test content or results without permission
  • Use automated tools (bots, scripts) to access the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Impersonate any person or entity

7. Intellectual Property

All content, questions, design, logos, and software comprising the Service are owned by Analytics or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIGHTMEDIA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $50, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Analytics from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes may be submitted to binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction, as permitted by applicable law.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
